Mikaela Palermo, graphic illustrator:
Mikaela Jane Palermo transforms life into an image, and images into life. She is a self-taught artist of all mediums, known best for stippling realism portraiture and digital illustrations. Her artwork covers a variety of subjects, but her influence stems from the emotion and vitality evoked in punk music, pop culture, and the 90's. The organic flow of her work is showcased in her fascination with nature and morbid imagery. Mikaela brings forward the personalities of her subjects while exhibiting a little of her own with individual style. Teri Anderson, textile artist:
Teri Anderson creates work that looks into the idea of craft in art, textiles, installation and sculpture to create a linear or surreal environment which the audience have to inhabit. The work links to her heritage and how textiles were key in their family history including sample machinists and pattern cutters. Building on this Teri proposes an art practise which incorporates a craft based techniques into the art based discipline of installation.
